If you are an HR professional interested in pursuing a non-traditional HR career with more variety in your practice areas and less big company politics, HR & Beyond may be just what you’ve been looking for. 


HR & Beyond is seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to work remotely with occasional local area commuting to client locations, to join its team of Human Resources Advisors.


WHAT YOU WOULD DO:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

·         Serve as the primary HR contact and strategic partner for an assigned portfolio of clients, developing strong relationships and becoming familiar with each client's business operations, culture, and goals

·         Provide day-to-day guidance and recommendations to business owners, executives, managers, and employees on a wide range of HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, policy interpretation, leaves of absence, workplace concerns, and compliance matters

·         Partner with leadership to identify practical solutions that balance compliance requirements, operational realities, and business objectives

·         Investigate and support employee relations matters including performance concerns, misconduct issues, harassment complaints, attendance concerns, interpersonal conflicts, and workplace investigations

·         Guide managers through employee performance processes including coaching conversations, corrective actions, written warnings, performance improvement plans, and separations

·         Conduct HR assessments and audits to identify opportunities, compliance risks, process gaps, and operational improvements

·         Draft, review, and implement employee handbooks, policies, procedures, forms, and HR-related communications tailored to client needs

·         Develop and deliver employee and management trainings on topics such as harassment prevention, workplace conduct, leadership development, compliance topics, onboarding, and best practices

·         Support and coordinate recruitment activities including workforce planning, job description development, interviewing guidance, candidate evaluations, and onboarding initiatives

·         Assist clients with organizational changes, restructuring efforts, workforce planning, and other special projects

·         Advise clients regarding compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices

·         Partner with internal team members to coordinate support, share knowledge, and ensure a seamless client experience

·         Utilize multiple technology platforms and systems to manage client communications, documentation, projects, and deliverables while maintaining organization and responsiveness

·         Balance multiple client priorities simultaneously while maintaining exceptional service, follow-through, and attention to detail

·         Participate in client meetings, presentations, onsite support activities, and networking or business development initiatives as needed


WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

Super flexible and committed HR Rock Star with the following profile:

·         College degree or Certified Human Resources Professionals highly preferred; PHR or better

·         5+ years’ experience in a high volume, PEO or consulting environment

·         Proven experience in dealing with high pressure situations and creative problem solving.

·         Solid EE relations, investigations, and employer compliance advising

·         Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience conducting employee/employer trainings, workshops, seminars and orientations

·         Flexibility and Focus: multi-tasking a must, with ability to manage multiple clients and issues in a fast-paced environment

·         Professional, upbeat attitude with ability to smile in the face of adversity and collaborate with teams

·         Must demonstrate an incredible sense of integrity, a passion for HR and support our mission to provide the best service possible to our client-partners

·         Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
