Job description

Professional Search Group OC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Recruiting Coordinator to support our client’s talent acquisition team. This position is ideal for an organized professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, and providing a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.


This position is fully on-site in Anaheim, CA and is a temporary role for 3 months (covering a leave).


Recruiting Coordinator Responsibilities


  • Partner with hiring managers to draft, update, and optimize job descriptions based on organizational needs and position requirements.
  • Post and promote open positions through the company careers page, job boards, LinkedIn, professional networks, and social media platforms.
  • Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies to expand candidate pipelines and reach diverse and underrepresented talent pools.
  • Review resumes and applications, evaluate qualifications, and identify candidates for consideration and interview.
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings by phone, video, or in person and coordinate subsequent interview rounds with hiring managers and interview teams.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records within the position control system and ensure required recruitment documentation is complete and up to date.
  • Evaluate candidates based on qualifications, experience, organizational values, and overall cultural alignment.
  • Maintain consistent, professional, and timely communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Provide candidates with appropriate updates, next steps, and expectations regarding the hiring process.
  • Provide structured candidate feedback, when appropriate, in coordination with hiring managers.
  • Assist with onboarding coordination and ensure appropriate notifications are completed throughout the transition from candidate selection to hire.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership to monitor recruiting activity, track open requisitions, and prepare recruitment status updates.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling candidate information, employment records, and sensitive HR data.
  • Assist with additional HR and talent acquisition projects as assigned by HR leadership.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities within the scope of the position as assigned by the supervisor.


Recruiting Coordinator Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree, HR certificate, or related education preferred.
  • 2+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, HR, or related experience, preferably in a high-volume or fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
  • Experience with SuccessFactors preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple open positions and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience using sourcing tools, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and social media recruiting platforms.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional phone presence.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a changing work environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive candidate and employee information appropriately.
  • Strong follow-through and attention to detail throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
