Position Overview
As a Line Cook at O’Bagel, you will play a critical role in delivering our signature breakfast sandwiches and menu items with speed, precision, and consistency.
You will work across the grill, hot prep, and cold prep stations, ensuring that every order meets our quality and presentation standards.

Key Responsibilities
Production Execution
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to O’Bagel recipes and portion standards.
  • Operate grill, hot prep, and cold prep stations efficiently.
  • Ensure all items are fresh, properly portioned, and packaged with care.
  • Manage multiple tickets during peak service with composure and accuracy
Quality & Consistency
  • Maintain strict adherence to portion control and build standards.
  • Monitor food temperature, quality, and presentation.
  • Ensure 100% order accuracy before handoff.
  • Communicate clearly with the expo and front-of-house team.
Safety & Cleanliness
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
  • Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Assist with labeling, dating, and proper ingredient rotation (FIFO).
  • Complete opening and closing cleaning tasks.
Team Contribution
  • Support fellow team members during peak hours.
  • Maintain a positive, professional attitude.
  • Take pride in contributing to a strong, cohesive kitchen culture.
Qualifications
  • Prior line cook or grill experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Food Handler certification preferred but not required.
Schedule & Compensation
  • Early Morning & Afternoon shifts available.
  • Full weekend availability required.
  • $16–$20 per hour (based on experience), tips included in wage.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, and reach as needed.
  • Comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment with varying temperatures and moderate noise levels.
