At Jack Stack Barbecue, our purpose is simple: Hope Through Hospitality. Our mission: Create Remarkable Experiences—for our guests and for each other.
From preparing hot food to making sure catering orders are loaded correctly and ready to go, you’ll play a critical role in delivering the quality and experience our guests expect.
What You'll Do:
  • Slice, chop, portion, and heat Hot Prep food according to established recipes and specifications
  • Execute catering and delivery food orders with accuracy, consistency, and attention to timing
  • Ensure every order is prepared correctly and ready to leave the kitchen hot, fresh, and on time
  • Maintain proper food storage, rotation, labeling, and organization
  • Follow all systems and processes for caterer and delivery-person loadout
  • Double-check orders and ensure catering and delivery needs are completed accurately
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen
  • Follow food safety procedures, including time and temperature tracking and proper cooling
  • Follow recipe guidelines and specifications to ensure consistent food quality
  • Work closely with the team to keep the kitchen moving efficiently during busy periods
  • Help deliver an outstanding guest experience with every order
  • Jump in wherever needed and take on additional responsibilities to support the team
