What is a hot prep?

Hot Prep workers are kitchen staff responsible for preparing and cooking hot food items in restaurants, cafeterias, or food production facilities. Their duties include following recipes, cooking food to proper temperatures, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining cleanliness in their work area.
