Bar-B-Clean of Kansas City is looking for new part-time team members who are striving to push themselves to earn the extra money and the recognition they deserve. We are growing quickly with a high demand for our services so this is an incredible opportunity for the right person to join our team.

Average Pay: $25.00 per hour. Expect to earn between $400 - $500 a week by just working as little as 3 days per week!

Expected hours: 20-30 hours per week

JOB DESCRIPTION (Part-Time Position)

Barbecue Grill Service Technician

Job Duties:

Work with the team: You stay in contact with your supervisor and your team to make sure the jobs are completed efficiently – everyone pitches in because it’s ultimately about serving the customer.

Develop your expertise: We professionally deep clean, repair, and install new barbecue grills, knowing that you’re ultimately helping people eat healthier and be safe. Over time, you gain a growing expertise at diagnosing problems and understanding how to repair or replace them.

Become a trusted professional: You make a positive impression with customers due to your professional appearance, demeanor and quality work so they will want to hire us again and tell their friends. You keep your vehicle and equipment clean and well-maintained so they’re available and ready for safe use. You look forward to the day when you’re a trusted industry expert with your own apprentices to train.

Job Requirements:

You love to learn: You have a high school diploma or equivalent. We don't require direct grill cleaning and service experience to apply here since we provide training, but related repair or service experience is preferred.

You’re a tech-savvy people-person: You love the puzzle and adventure of understanding and completing the technical challenges you’re posed with. At the same time, you’re comfortable talking to a homeowner and professionally educating them on their grill.

You’re ready to work: You have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, car insurance, a ready-to-work attitude, and have no problem handling the physical demands of the job. You enjoy working outdoors.

You’re a professional: You are clean, neat, well-groomed in appearance, and you understand that safety is paramount.

Benefits:

• Flexible schedule - You pick the days you want to work each week
• Paid training (Hourly Rate of $20 per hour during initial 8-10 grill training period with Operations Manager)
• We provide an additional $10 Trip Charge for every job to cover gas and mileage
• W2 Position not 1099

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday and potential weekends if desired
• Hours required during the day, NO evenings available

Work Location: In person at customer homes and commercial apartment complexes throughout KC Metro
