Team Lead
Job Description
We are looking for a Team Lead to ensure all daily activities run smoothly and efficiently. You will have the unique opportunity to make an impact in your work; with your team, with the community as they experience the restaurant, and with the children overseas who receive the food raised through our Meal 4 Meal program. While the first two areas are the most tangible for you in the workplace, the third is no less real and certainly no less significant. Thank you for turning hunger into hope with your own two hands!

Restaurant Team Lead Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

• Ensure cleanliness is to standard
• Improvements in the overall restaurant and business
• Overseeing restaurant staff performance
• Assist with the oversight of Team Members and Catering Coordinator
• Observation and teachable moments for overall restaurant items
• Guest Interaction: problem-solving, creating a guest connection, the mood of the restaurant
• Food Cost
• Order Times
• Reviews
• Labor
• Praising, evaluating and correcting Team Members
• Read assigned books with the management team for professional and personal development

Tacos 4 Life exists to End Starvation by serving amazing food to our guests and inviting them to join us in the fight to end starvation through our Meal 4 Meal program.
Tacos 4 Life believes every child deserves to run, grow, and play without feeling the agony of being hungry. In 2009, co-founders Austin & Ashton Samuelson learned that more than 18,000 children die worldwide every day due to hunger-related causes. Tacos 4 Life opened its first location in Conway, AR. in 2014. The brand partnered with Feed My Starving Children and launched its Meal-4-Meal program. For every meal purchased at a restaurant, one meal is donated to a child in need. Since its inception, Tacos 4 Life has donated over 40 million meals, expanded to multiple states, including Arkansas, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, and will soon include Missouri. Tacos 4 Life is entering an exciting growth phase with multiple restaurants in the development pipeline throughout the Southeast. Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00-$18.00
Requirements

• Follow Tacos 4 Life standard operating procedures in the kitchen
• Efficiently follow a daily prep cook list provided by management
• Preparing and cooking ingredients for the line (including hot prep, cold prep, grill prep, and grill fry)
• Efficiently prepare all menu items in a timely manner
• Expediting food from the kitchen to FOH staff
• Maintain cleanliness by following the station checklist
• Washes all wares including pots, pans, flatware, and glasses, by hand or using dishwashers
• Correctly places and stores clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas
• Assisting with stocking food truck orders
• Must be a team player and assist when and where needed
