Job description

Part -Time with ability to grow. Starting with two days a week/14-16 hours. Willl work to THREE days a week with option of working two in-office and one remotely. Remote day will be a short one to two hours replying to emails.

Accounting and HOA Management office located in Snohomish.

$27 to $33 per hour DOE

Minimum Requirements:

-One year Bookkeeping experience.

-Word and Excel mastered

-Ability to interpret customer accounts and reply to phone calls and emails breaking down activity and explaining at a the most basic level.

-Self-starter and take initiative.

-Trustworthy with understanding of privileged and confidential information

-Ability to draft letters and notices from given details.

-Task management and follow-through skills a must!

-Some public speaking skills, be able to lead and speak during HOA meetings.

Preferred applicant would have some or all of the following:

-HOA Management experience.

-Advanced bookkeeping/accounting experience.

Job Duties:

-Post and deposit Homeowner Association payments.

-Pay HOA bills.

-Bank Reconciliation.

-Monthly financial statements.

-HOA invoicing

-HOA notices, newsletters and violation mailings/emails.

-Escrow demands

-Reply to homeowner questions and requests.

-Secretary of State filings.

-Administrative duties as requested: Tax packet mailings, office supply pick up, etc.

-Bank deposit and post office mailings.

-HOA Budget updates.

-Other office duties as requested.

Ideal candidate will have the requirements above and an interest in long-term employment and advancement of career. Willing to train in accounting/tax and expand the position for the right applicant.
