Job description

We are looking for an experienced Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to support end users and endpoint operations for a construction-focused organization in Appleton, Wisconsin. This contract opportunity with permanent potential is ideal for someone who combines strong technical troubleshooting skills with a service-oriented approach and hands-on experience managing Windows environments. The role will focus on device support, software deployment, patch management, and endpoint administration while contributing to ongoing initiatives that improve security, access controls, and overall desktop performance.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver day-to-day desktop and help desk support by diagnosing technical issues, resolving user requests, and ensuring a positive support experience.
• Administer and support Microsoft endpoint tools, including Intune, to manage devices, enforce policies, and maintain system health across the environment.
• Coordinate and execute software deployments through Intune, confirming successful installation and addressing issues that arise during rollout.
• Perform Windows patching activities, monitor update compliance, and assist with efforts to modernize and improve patch management processes.
• Support Active Directory administration tasks such as user access updates, device-related changes, and basic directory maintenance.
• Manage service requests and incident documentation within ServiceNow, keeping tickets current and communicating progress clearly to stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate device and asset records through inventory management practices, including endpoint cleanup and lifecycle tracking.
• Assist with endpoint privilege management initiatives by supporting approved software access workflows and helping enforce secure installation standards.• 5+ years of experience in help desk, desktop support, or endpoint support roles.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, including device administration and software deployment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows desktop support, troubleshooting, and system patching practices.
• Experience working with Active Directory and core Microsoft support technologies.
