Overview
All hours will be worked on site.
The Process Improvement Coordinator position is responsible for serving employees of Unity Point Health - Des Moines by using scientific methods that guide teams and improve processes, and to advance ingraining process improvement into the culture. This position is responsible for educating employees on process improvement methodologies (Adaptive Design and others), and facilitating process improvement teams and activities. This position extensively uses root cause analysis skills to determine how healthcare processes may be improved.

  • Captures information via direct observations, interviews, literature review, or information systems.
  • Creates process maps.
  • Predicts testable changes could improve the identified problem.

Education: Bachelor's Degree
