The role:

Jefferson Healthcare (www.jeffersonhealthcare.org) is currently looking for a Process Improvement & Innovation Specialist. The Process Improvement Specialist is a key contributor to operational process initiatives within the organization aimed at increasing efficiency. This role involves working closely with a variety of stakeholders to pinpoint areas for improvement, establish objectives, develop strategies, and manage the rollout of new processes and technologies, including the thoughtful use of approved Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools. Through the use of observation, analysis, data gathering, and industry knowledge, the Process Improvement Specialist leads efforts to enhance operational effectiveness and support staff during transitions using methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, RPI, 5S, and Value Stream Analysis.

This position is Hybrid with some work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, related field, or equivalent work experience in a healthcare organization required
  • Experience with EMR (Epic) preferred
  • Process Improvement certification or 3 years' experience required
  • Project Management experience or certification strongly preferred
  • Management of SaaS or Application experience preferred
  • Education, Certificate or recent Continuous Learning Coursework on Artificial Intelligence required
