Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Process Improvement Consultant with a strong Six Sigma / Lean background to support process optimization within a regulated environment. This role is highly analytical and focused on understanding complex, end-to-end processes, identifying inefficiencies and risks, and driving measurable, sustainable improvements.
The ideal candidate has experience in public sector or highly regulated industries (government, healthcare, utilities preferred) and is comfortable working cross-functionally with business, operational, and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and document end-to-end business processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Apply Six Sigma / Lean methodologies to design and implement measurable process improvements
  • Define, track, and analyze process metrics and KPIs to support data-driven decision-making
  • Develop and maintain current-state and future-state process maps, workflows, controls, and SOPs
  • Perform root cause analysis and risk assessments; recommend practical, compliant solutions
  • Ensure process improvements align with regulatory, compliance, and governance requirements
  • Partner with business and technical teams to ensure clarity, consistency, and scalability of process changes
  • Support enterprise or cross-departmental initiatives focused on operational excellence
Required Qualifications
  • Six Sigma certification (Green Belt required; Black Belt preferred)
  • Proven experience in process improvement or operational excellence roles
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, metrics, and documentation
  • Experience working in a public sector or regulated environment
  • Strong documentation and process-mapping skills
  • Ability to translate complex processes into clear, actionable insights
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in government agencies, healthcare systems, or utilities
