Job description


MAJOR FUNCTION:
Perform all clerical and receptionist duties that are relevant to department. Responsible for the maintenance and confidentiality of patient's medical records. Maintains necessary paper forms and supplies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience:
  • High school education or its equivalent.
  • Previous experience as unit clerk/nurse's aide preferred.
  • Medical terminology preferred, computer experience.

Certification/Licensure:
  • Certified Health Unit Coordinator, preferred.

Knowledge & Skills:
  • Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to complete computer tasks.
