What is a harvest cellar?

Harvest cellar workers are employees who assist with the production of wine during the harvest season, primarily working in the winery's cellar. Their duties include receiving and processing grapes, operating equipment, monitoring fermentation, cleaning tanks and barrels, and supporting winemakers with various tasks. This role is physically demanding and typically seasonal, with peak activity during grape harvest months. Harvest cellar workers play a vital part in ensuring the quality and efficiency of the winemaking process.

What skills and qualifications are needed to thrive as a harvest cellar worker?

To thrive as a Harvest Cellar worker, you need knowledge of winemaking processes, attention to detail, and physical stamina, often supported by prior experience or relevant training.
