Position overview:

IT Hardware Asset Analysts

IT Hardware Asset Analysts leverage communication, technical, and analytical skill sets to identify, deliver, maintain, and optimize scalable solutions and value to NDCP users.IT Hardware Analysts understand how process and technology changes fit into the company strategy. Success is measured through a variety of methods including process improvement, effective use of technology products, metrics/data-driven decision making, speed to delivery/resolution, and overall customer service provided to the end user. Hardware Analysts will support/use various technology platforms including POD Devices, laptops, Warehouse Equipment, mobile devices, etc.

Responsibilities

What you'll do  

  • Perform basic hardware maintenance and troubleshooting for NDCP IT OPs and furnished equipment.
  • Support staging, shipping, and installation logistics for warranty and non-warranty repair processes
  • Inspect and test repaired equipment to verify functionality before returning to service
  • Document hardware issues, repairs, and resolutions in ServiceNow, ensuring accurate tracking of assets
  • Provide basic packing and crating support for IT equipment shipped for vendor repairs
  • Coordinate with IT Analyst and Operation teams to ensure secure shipping and handling of IT assets
  • Assist in hardware support for workstations, printers, and peripherals across various DC locations
  • Follow NDCP security protocols and report any hardware discrepancies, damages, or missing equipment
  • Maintain proper inventory records for repaired and replaced hardware component
  • Troubleshooting mobile devices and tablets
  • Coordinate with Apps team to resolve performance issues on NDCP devices
  • Perform additional duties as required and or requested
  • Respond to requests for assistance in person, over the phone, via email, and through an internal trouble ticket system
  • The employee must occasionally lift, pull, and move up to 40 pounds
  • Participate in developing procedures and suggest improvements to existing procedures
  • Determine escalation points for specific issues
  • Able to travel at least 2 or more times per year
Qualifications

Qualifications you bring: 

  • 0-3 years' experience in a technical support position or logistics
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • Microsoft Office suite expertise
