Job Title: Wireless Deployment Engineer
Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 12+ Month Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Wireless Deployment Engineer to support a large-scale wireless refresh project across multiple enterprise and manufacturing locations. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Cisco wireless technologies, wireless deployments, RF optimization, and enterprise networking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy, configure, and optimize Cisco wireless infrastructure across multiple sites.
  • Configure and support Cisco Catalyst 9800 Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs).
  • Perform wireless site surveys and RF optimization using Ekahau or similar tools.
  • Install and validate Cisco Access Points (APs) and ensure proper network integration.
  • Troubleshoot wireless connectivity, RF interference, DHCP, VLAN, and CAPWAP-related issues.
  • Work closely with project teams, architects, and onsite technicians during deployments.
  • Support Cisco Spaces implementation and wireless analytics initiatives.
  • Utilize Cisco DNA Center (DNAC) for wireless management, monitoring, and policy administration.
  • Document deployments, configurations, and post-installation validation results.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise wireless networking.
  • Strong experience with Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (Catalyst 9800 preferred).
  • Hands-on experience deploying and troubleshooting Cisco Access Points.
  • Wireless site survey experience using Ekahau or AirMagnet.
  • Strong understanding of RF optimization, channel planning, DCA, and TPC.
  • Experience with VLANs, DHCP, CAPWAP, and enterprise switching.
  • Knowledge of Cisco DNA Center (DNAC).
  • Experience working in large enterprise, manufacturing, or campus environments.

Preferred Skills
