  • Must be based in Phoenix area, 5 days onsite per week

Work status:
  • U.S. Citizenship required.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Investigate and resolve failures occurring within advanced electronic assemblies used in satellite communication systems.
  • Perform detailed board-level and component-level diagnostics on high-speed digital designs incorporating processors, programmable logic devices, memory architectures, storage interfaces, and communication chipsets.
  • Evaluate and troubleshoot mixed-signal and analog circuitry, including data conversion, clocking, filtering, amplification, and power regulation functions.
  • Analyze power management architectures, including switching regulators, linear supplies, sequencing circuits, and control loop performance.
  • Support debugging efforts for RF and UHF communication hardware utilizing DSP, FPGA, and embedded processing technologies.
  • Utilize laboratory instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, RF measurement equipment, digital multimeters, and specialized programming tools to isolate root causes.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, operations, and program teams to drive effective corrective actions and product recovery efforts.
  • Provide technical guidance to engineers and technicians supporting multiple product lines and customer programs.
  • Partner with test engineering teams to develop validation methodologies, diagnostic procedures, and test coverage improvements.
  • Contribute to long-term hardware sustainment initiatives, including component obsolescence mitigation and alternative part qualification efforts.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, engineering procedures, and recovery processes that improve operational efficiency and knowledge sharing.
