Job Description
Our client is seeking a Group Product Manager to join their team. This role is responsible for leading the strategy, development, and ongoing improvement of retirement products and solutions. The Group Product Manager will own the product roadmap, partner with cross-functional teams, and translate customer insights, market trends, and business needs into scalable solutions. The ideal candidate has strong product management experience, project leadership skills, and a deep understanding of retirement products or financial services.
Responsibilities:
- Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for retirement products and solutions
- Lead product development initiatives from concept through launch and ongoing improvement
- Gather and translate customer insights, business needs, and market research into product requirements
- Partner with Sales, Relationship Management, Operations, Compliance, Marketing, and other stakeholders to drive execution
- Support go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and successful adoption of new solutions
- Manage cross-functional projects, timelines, requirements, testing, and execution plans
- Monitor product performance, key metrics, and customer feedback to identify improvement opportunities
- Conduct research and analysis to support product decisions, business cases, and future enhancements
- Support vendor evaluations, product updates, and lifecycle management
- Provide leadership with insights on product performance, opportunities, and recommendations for growth
- Partner with Training & Development and PMO teams to ensure initiatives are aligned and execution-ready
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience in product management, product development, or a related role
- Experience owning product strategy, roadmaps, and lifecycle management
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives
- Experience translating customer insights, market trends, and business needs into actionable product solutions
- Strong understanding of retirement products, financial services, or related industry experience preferred
- Experience using Agile or similar methodologies to manage product development
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience using data to drive decisions
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results independently
- Experience partnering with teams across Sales, Operations, Marketing, Compliance, and Business Strategy
- Strong research and competitive analysis skills to identify market opportunities and product improvements

The base pay range for this position is $150,000 - $165,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
