JOB SUMMARY
Marriott Bonvoy Boutiques, available at shop.marriott.com, extends the Marriott brand experience beyond the stay by offering curated products inspired by our hotels, destinations and lifestyle offerings. The FLEX Sr. Director, Ecommerce Boutiques will lead high-impact strategic initiatives designed to enhance the performance, sociability and overall customer experience of the commerce platform.
Operating in a project-based capacity, this role will assess the current ecommerce ecosystem, identify opportunities to optimize digital capabilities, and develop recommendations that drive business growth, operational efficiency and customer engagement. The FLEX Senior Director will serve as the strategic liaison between business and technology teams, establishing priorities, translating business requirements into actionable roadmaps, and overseeing the delivery of key initiatives.
This position will partner closely with Technology, Marketing, Merchandising, Operations, Finance and other cross- functional stakeholder to evaluate emerging opportunities, implement enhancements, and advance the long-term evolution of the Boutiques business.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience Required
  • 4-year degree from an accredited university.
  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience in ecommerce product management, demonstrating progressive career growth.
  • Leadership experience driving ecommerce website development roadmaps, teams and solution architecture decision-making.
  • Working knowledge of ecommerce requirements and experience with platforms such as Salesforce, Shopify and integrated apps.
  • Versatile experience across diversified ecommerce channels such as website, Amazon, third party retailers, social media.
  • Experience with Adobe Marketing Cloud and/or Google Analytics.
  • Experience setting, achieving and reporting on customer engagement and conversion KPIs.

Education and Experience Preferred
  • A 4-degree in Computer Science or significant experience as a product manager leading ecommerce development and design teams.
  • Experience leading website ecommerce for home furnishings, luxury or gift industries.
  • Experience building organizational competencies and best practices in a start-up or high-growth ecommerce business.
  • Team management and leadership experience.

  • Independently drive daily website and channel partner teams and agencies.
  • Lead and communicate the ecommerce development roadmap prioritization for business needs.
  • Lead identifying, testing and implementing user experience enhancements to support engagement and conversion.
  • Collaborate with marketing and merchandising to deliver on business goals, rigorously prioritize needs and communicate updates in a structured format.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with various technical teams and leaders.
  • Deliver platform support for merchandising operations, vendor management and, reporting and financial needs.
  • In partnership with marketing, drive the optimization of key pages and hero products.
  • Be the voice of cutting edge commerce functionality and the rapidly evolving ecommerce AI landscape.
  • Contribute to the overall strategy and leadership of the Retail business and communicate our objectives internally.
