The Group Product Director, Autoantibody Marketing, will join and lead a highly capable marketing team composed of dedicated and passionate individuals. This position will be responsible for leading a team accountable for the Professional marketing efforts for IMAAVY®. This role will act as a leader in the Immunology marketing team and will report directly to the Director of Marketing. The individual in this position will have responsibility for shaping the HCP Marketing strategy, Professional Promotion, Medical Education and Lifecycle Management Planning. The individual will also play a lead role for continual analysis of our commercial model and oversee the Autoantibody JET/DEP plan and optimization.
The Group Product Director must develop, retain, and motivate direct reports. Responsible for the development of all employees within team by supporting the development of Human Resources Planning (HRP) programs including management development and training to meet current and future business needs. This person will be accountable for meeting key strategic imperatives of the brand and contributing to revenue performance in the U.S. to meet and exceed share goals. IMAAVY is a highly visible asset in the J&J Immunology portfolio of products, and this position will create a significant career opportunity. This individual must demonstrate strong leadership presence through influencing without authority with high-level management, attention to detail, and excellent strategic thinking. This position requires extensive interactions with multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, retain, and motivate a high-performance marketing team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Development and execution of HCP marketing strategies, positioning, messaging and tactics to drive performance of IMAAVY
  • Lead in partnership with the Thought Leader Liaison team the relationship management for Key Opinion Leaders, professional education/conventions, and congress strategies.
  • Ensure strong partnership with sales and peer marketers responsible for Access/Fulfillment and DTC to ensure strong collaboration and consistency from strategy to execution; Should shape Immunology patient insights and tactical planning with matrixed partners and oversee access / customer experience pull through in HCP channels.
  • Work closely with the Commercial Excellence team to translate data into meaningful insights that shape strategy.
  • Play a critical role partnering with cross functional partners including Medical Affairs, Global Marketing, Finance, R&D, Quality, Sales and cross-franchise marketing to develop plans and tactics for the U.S. business and develop plans for translating clinical data into commercial opportunities.
  • Build relationships and work effectively with external agencies and key internal partners to ensure prioritized successful tactical execution.
  • Partner with legal, medical, regulatory & HCC to obtain approval of marketing materials.
  • Demonstrate strong strategic and operational planning excellence to ensure proactive and timely cross-functional plans regarding IMAAVY data, competitor activities, market events and more; Responsible for delivering the HCP Marketing Tactical plan and continued optimization of plan.

Qualifications:
Education:
  • B.A./B.S. is required. An MBA or other related advanced degree is preferred.

Experience and Skills:
  • A minimum of 10 years of commercial or related business experience, of which at least 5 years of successful pharmaceutical marketing
  • People leadership experience required.
  • Candidate must have a demonstrated track record of business results, storytelling competencies and comfort in trying new things.
  • Strong learning agility and command of clinical data preferred.
  • Ability to influence large/diverse teams without direct authority is required.
  • Strong verbal, written and executive communication skills are required along with demonstrated presentation skills.
  • Sales or Sales leadership experience is preferred.
  • Agency/ vendor relationship management required.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with sales teams is preferred.
  • Must have a strong sense of urgency and big picture orientation with attention to detail.
  • Continual assessment of the competitive landscape to inform strategic choices.
  • Must be innovative, proactive, and strong analytically with excellent overall business acumen.
  • Excellent leadership, decision-making process, and ability to influence with a heightened ability to collaborate and work with a team to deliver results.
  • This role is based in Horsham, PA (3 days/week) and may require up to 20% domestic travel.
