Position Description:
  • Provide mentorship, guidance and support to a team of IT product managers, fostering their professional growth and performance.
  • Set clear objectives and expectations for the team and ensure they have the necessary resources and tools to excel in their roles.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and offer feedback to team members to help them continuously improve.
  • Collaborate with product leadership team to define and shape the product strategy and feature roadmap based on business goals, user research and data.
  • Prioritize product features and improvements, with the goal of delivering value to the end users and impact to the business.
  • Continuously evaluate performance across the platforms, deployed features and gather feedback to inform future decisions.
  • Ensure that the product development process adheres to best practices, agile methodologies, and quality standards to deliver products on time and within budget.
  • Support the team in defining product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams to follow during the software development lifecycle
  • Monitor the progress of ongoing projects, identify potential roadblocks, and take corrective actions to keep projects on track.
  • Foster strong partnerships with engineering, design, marketing, and other relevant teams to ensure smooth product development, launch, and post-launch support.
  • Coordinate efforts between different teams to address dependencies and maximize efficiency in the product development process.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs, gather feedback, and communicate product plans and updates effectively.
  • Manage expectations and provide regular updates on product development progress, milestones, and potential changes in scope.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate product success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyze product performance data and user feedback to drive data-driven decisions for product enhancements and future iterations.
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned

Education and/or Training:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager or in a similar leadership role within the IT industry.
  • Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.)

Relevant Work Experience:
  • Experience with leading a team of product managers, product owners, or business analysts to build innovative digital products
  • Proven track record of working with UX designers to create experiences that are driven by qualitative user research and prototyping
  • Breadth and depth of technical or functional expertise in own area of responsibility or department; may be acquiring knowledge of other related areas of departments
  • Developing and implementing processes, methods, and tools to increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, leveraging data to inform decision-making.
  • Business acumen and the ability to align product strategies with organizational goals.
  • Familiarity with technology trends and the ability to anticipate market needs and opportunities.
  • Experience with project management tools and product management software is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies, particularly agile practices.

Regular Full-Time

Pay:
We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $120,730.00 - $187,130.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay and bonus earnings.
