Job description

Culton Companies, Inc. (D/B/A: ExpoDisplays, Method-1, and Warner Museums) is excited to announce the opening of an Environmental Graphics Designer position. Our fast-paced work environment requires a champion who consistently demonstrates strong creative vision, has a clear and persuasive communication style, and continually evolves while building on core strengths. This role will support our Design and Sales staff and our external clients in defining and understanding the graphical needs of each project.

This Birmingham-based position requires someone who quickly produces high-quality conceptual 2D artwork for our Design team to use in 3D design renderings.  You would also be responsible for supporting clients in the creation of production-ready artwork. These graphic designs will be used for both ExpoDisplays custom trade show exhibits and Method-1/Warner Museums custom branded interior projects.

Job requirements include proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite and the ability to juggle multiple projects at once under tight work deadlines. Experience working with large-format graphics is needed. Layout experience/exposure to projects in which AR/VR and other digital interactive solutions were utilized would also be advantageous. A minimum of 2 years of professional experience is preferred, and a stand-out digital portfolio with your impressive conceptual work is required.
This position is based in our Birmingham, AL, corporate headquarters facility. It is a full-time 40-hour per week, M-F 8:00-5:00 (or thereabouts) salaried position. We offer competitive pay based on experience (and potential), a 401K plan with employer match, Blue Cross insurance, a generous PTO policy, regular company cookouts, pot-luck lunches, and the occasional Food Truck Friday.
Let’s be honest. If you’ve read this far, then this opportunity probably sounds pretty good to you. Click through, attach your resume, cover letter, and some portfolio samples, and we’ll see where it goes!
