So, what will the General Clerk III at Terrestris do?
As the General Clerk III you will assist the United Stated Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service Staff Groups in various administrative tasks including budget tracking, digital records management, routine data management, information gathering, and related.
What does a typical day look like for the General Clerk III?
You will:
  • Interface with budget staff to retrieve, track and communicate program's spending levels across various funding sources.
  • Sort and presents data in an orderly and effective manner.
  • Assist the Engineering and Recreation departments implement a digital filing system for current and past project and program records.
  • Input, manage, extract, and interpret data using Forest Service asset management software.
  • Perform various routine administrative tasks and interfaces with multiple resource groups to maintain complete and accurate databases of asset records in accordance with USDA directives.
  • Coordinate meetings, take notes, assist with the presentation of information, and perform other administrative duties in support of staff group missions.
What qualifications do you look for?
You might be the professional we're looking for if you have:
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship.
  • A minimum of (5) years of relevant office experience.
  • Strong computer literacy and proficient in all Microsoft windows and Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) as well as Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to interpret general direction and apply to novel situations using best judgement and standard protocols.
  • Ability to quickly learn new processes, software, organizational structures, and directives relevant to tasks being performed
