Job description

The Administrative / General Clerk III plays a key role in supporting the Agency's mission by delivering comprehensive administrative, clerical, records, and operational assistance across multiple organizational units. This position handles a broad range of unclassified administrative and records-related functions essential to maintaining efficient daily operations.
โ€ข Manage assigned workload accurately and efficiently in alignment with Agency priorities.
โ€ข Follow approved records procedures and desktop processes per the Records Policy Manual (RPM) and local SOPs.
โ€ข Maintain compliance with Agency policies, manuals, and procedural guidance.
โ€ข Participate in Agency-provided training on records systems, SOPs, and policies.
โ€ข Identify gaps in guidance and assist in drafting SOPs for Government review.
โ€ข Ensure accurate data entry, record integrity, and timely task completion.
โ€ข Receive, log, sort, distribute, and prepare unclassified mail and correspondence.
โ€ข Deliver mail to designated locations within required timeframes.
โ€ข Scan, log, interfile, and route documents per policy.
โ€ข Prepare files for transfer, shipment, storage, or retirement.
โ€ข Enter, update, and track files in Agency record systems.
โ€ข Create, maintain, consolidate, and store physical and electronic files.
โ€ข Conduct routine file audits, reconciliations, and missing file searches.
โ€ข Support record retention, disposition, and inventory reporting.
โ€ข Assist with mobile audit teams and records projects as assigned.
โ€ข Assist with expenditure tracking and spend plan updates.
โ€ข Support payroll and general expense analysis.
โ€ข Assist with budget execution tracking and documentation.

The hourly rate for this position is $28.89 per hour, plus $5.09 per hour for Health and Welfare.
Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • 3-5 years of relevant administrative experience
  • Ability to successfully complete corporate background investigation to include credit and criminal check
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Government suitability determination/clearance
Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage high volumes of mail, files, and administrative tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) and Adobe Acrobat.
