Job description

ABOUT SITELINE

Siteline is a Series A SaaS startup in the construction space. We're a team of 25 full-time employees who live and work remotely across the US, with a small in-person office in San Francisco.

What problems are we solving?
We're on a mission to modernize finance for construction, an industry that employs 1 out of every 10 workers, but lacks good software tools to get the job done. Payments in construction are fundamentally broken — the antiquated billing process hasn't evolved in decades, and construction is one of the slowest industries to get paid in. We've found a unique wedge into this huge market and are growing quickly.

Why are we building this?
Millions of hardworking people are affected by this broken system — in turn making construction more expensive and inefficient for society every year. When everyone up and down the chain is on the same page with payments, contractors can focus on actually building, instead of mountains of paperwork. We're reimagining construction finance to help contractors get paid, grow their business, and build a better future for all of us.
ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Integration Support Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving seamless ERP integrations and resolving technical challenges for Siteline's customers. You'll lead the technical implementation process for new customers and provide ongoing technical support for existing customers, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Additionally, you will develop and maintain detailed, customer-facing documentation while collaborating across teams to improve processes and enhance our integration capabilities. If you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and enjoy solving complex problems, this role is for you.

This role works Eastern Time hours remotely from anywhere in the US. You must be able to work starting at 8 am ET, regardless of geography. You'll be asked to visit the SF office from time to time to collaborate in-person with the SWE team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for integration-related support, performing root cause analysis on complex integration issues, troubleshooting data flow issues, resolving configuration errors, and escalating bugs to Engineering when necessary
  • Manage complex migrations: Lead data migrations and system transitions when needed, monitoring for sync issues
  • Collaborate with Customer Success: When Customer Success Managers (CSMs) need technical help during implementation, migration, or support, provide hands-on support to get integrations working
  • Collaborate with Engineering: Report bugs clearly with full context; ensure smooth handoffs and feedback loops. The ideal candidate wants to grow into more and more ownership of the technical aspects.
  • Build & maintain documentation: Create technical guides, troubleshooting resources, and runbooks for CSMs, support, and engineering teams.
  • Support pre-sales initiatives by assisting with technical discovery and answering integration-related questions during calls with prospects
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Key Qualifications:

  • Strong technical foundation with experience debugging and troubleshooting complex technical systems (APIs, data flows, configurations, logs) even with minimal documentation.
  • 2–5 years in technical roles such as integrations, implementation, technical support, web development, internal tools engineering, or solutions engineering.
  • Ability to proactively tackle challenges and deliver solutions with minimal reliance on Engineering. Technically curious and comfortable debugging, with an interest in improving your technical skills
  • Experience conducting root cause analyses and resolving complex technical issues
  • Experience creating clear, effective documentation for both internal and external audiences.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams, particularly with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success.
  • Thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments and adapts to ambiguity.
  • Excellent communication skills with both customers and internal teams.

Bonus but not required:

  • Familiarity with systems like Sage, Vista, QuickBooks, or similar ERP solutions
  • Familiarity with General Contractor portals like Procore, Textura, or GC Pay
  • Previous experience in construction tech, SaaS, or B2B technical environments
WHAT WE OFFER
  • Competitive Compensation: We provide a salary that reflects your skills and experience, along with meaningful equity in the company.
  • Flexible Work Environment: Enjoy the freedom to choose your work hours and the option to work remotely, promoting a healthy work-life balance.
  • Health & Wellness Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance to support your well-being, along with wellness programs and resources.
  • Professional Development: Annual $1K learning stipend to use toward classes, certifications, conferences, or other meaningful career development.
  • Collaborative Culture: Join a supportive team that values creativity, innovation, and open communication, where your ideas are encouraged and celebrated.
  • Paid Time Off: Unlimited PTO policy with an encouraged three-week annual minimum.
  • Team Events: We regularly host team social activities and happy hours, and travel to meet in-person 1-2 times a year.
INTERVIEW PROCESS

We value a transparent and straightforward process, and hope that providing this context up front gives you useful insight into what to expect. We may make edits, but the process will look something like:

  1. Application Review
  2. Hiring Manager Video Interview | 30 min
  3. Take-Home Exercise | Intended to be completed in 2 hrs or less
  4. Technical Interview | 30 min
  5. Cofounder Video Interview | 45 min
Company values
Move Quickly, Together
Speed is our advantage, but alignment is our path to victory. We will go farthest, fastest if we work in unison. Prioritize the mission, establish clear owners and deliverables, and execute with confidence.

Reach for the Sky
We are curious, open-minded, and courageous. We challenge ourselves and each other to ask more questions, push boundaries, and deliver excellence every day.

Run Lean
Construction is a scrappy industry where companies must do more with less. Same here. Operate efficiently, optimize strategically, and always get the most bang for our buck.

Be the Steel
Builds fail when the foundation is faulty. The same is true for us. Exercise good judgment, deliver on your commitments, and know your capacity—every base has its threshold, after all. Most importantly, back your teammates. We're stronger than reinforced concrete when we support each other.

Build Our Fanbase
Our mission is to grow the size of the pie for everyone in construction. We only achieve that audacious goal if we keep our customers front and center. Work tenaciously to build smarter systems that solve real problems for our customers, positively impact their businesses and lives, and make them loyal fans.

Shoot Straight
We speak directly, candidly, and respectfully. We prioritize transparency, err on over-communicating, and understand that differing opinions and perspectives are part of a healthy company. Ultimately, it's okay to disagree with—but still commit to—the chosen direction.

At Siteline, we're looking for people with passion, grit, and integrity. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't precisely match the job description. Your skills and passion will stand out—and set you apart—especially if your career has taken some extraordinary twists and turns. We know that diverse perspectives foster the innovation we need to be successful, and we are committed to building a team that encompasses a variety of backgrounds, experiences, and skills. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. We do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status. Join us!
