At Sierra Space, we build the missions and systems that keep our world secure in the domain above Earth.
Sierra Space team members share a spirit of innovation and collaboration and a belief that we can deliver on the boldest missions in space today. Together with our customers, we aim to safeguard our nation, sustain human presence in space, and secure the freedom of operations in low Earth orbit and beyond.
Our success is measured by the trust of those who rely on what we build and deliver, and our technologies keep the United States and its allies mission-ready throughout space.
We are mission-driven, and together, we are an extraordinary team.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Staff Augmentation Talent Acquisition Partner III to join our dynamic HR team. This specialized role offers an opportunity to significantly impact our organization's workforce strategy by overseeing and executing all staff augmentation hiring across the enterprise. The ideal candidate brings advanced vendor management expertise, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a data-driven approach to contingent workforce acquisition. You will serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership while leading initiatives that align with our strategic objectives and cost management goals.
As a Staff Augmentation Talent Acquisition Partner III, you will be the primary liaison between our organization and staff augmentation vendors, developing intimate knowledge of their capabilities, pricing structures, and talent pools. You will implement advanced vendor management strategies, evaluate candidates and staffing firms, and coordinate between hiring managers and vendors throughout the selection process. Your responsibilities include maintaining vendor and candidate records, providing regular updates to executives, collaborating with procurement to negotiate favorable terms, and working with vendors to hire staff augmentation labor across all business functions. Ensuring exceptional vendor relationships through professional, strategic communication is essential to this role. As a senior team member, you will collaborate with business leaders to drive our staff augmentation strategy while optimizing costs and quality. You will drive our staff augmentation strategy, build vendor partnerships, and leverage data analytics to influence decision-making. You will serve as the subject matter expert on staff augmentation best practices, market conditions, and industry trends. Working closely with procurement, you will ensure compliance with labor laws governing contingent workforce management, including worker classification, co-employment risk mitigation, and regulatory requirements.
About You

  • Experience managing talent pipelines and candidate experiences by consulting leaders.
  • Experience building and maintaining a network of potential candidates through market research and ongoing relationship management.
  • Experience conducting in-depth interviews of potential candidates.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other contingent recruitment software
  • Proficiency in data analytics with the ability to leverage metrics to drive staff augmentation decisions, cost optimization, and vendor performance evaluation
  • Strong knowledge of contingent workforce management best practices, including co-employment risk mitigation strategies and worker classification guidelines
  • Experience with advanced sourcing techniques, including Boolean searches and X-ray searches
  • Demonstrated expertise in vendor relationship management and the ability to negotiate favorable terms with staffing agencies
  • Comprehensive understanding of federal, state, and local labor laws pertaining to contingent workforce management
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple vendor relationships and requisitions simultaneously
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with executive stakeholders, hiring managers, and vendor representatives
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives
  • Experience developing and implementing vendor performance metrics and service level agreements
  • Knowledge of market rates and compensation structures for various contingent roles across different industries
  • Experience managing enterprise-wide staff augmentation hiring across diverse business units and technical domains
  • Track record of developing standardized processes for staff augmentation hiring that can be consistently applied across an entire organization

Compensation:
Pay Range:
