Role Purpose

The Receptionist Intern supports the daily administrative and front-desk operations of the Monterrey GBS Center, helping create a professional, welcoming, and efficient office environment for employees, visitors, and external partners. This role contributes to office organization, visitor experience, process improvement, supplier coordination, and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) initiatives, while also promoting the use of digital tools and innovative technologies to enhance administrative processes.

  Key Responsibilities
  • Support front-desk and reception activities, ensuring a positive and professional first impression for visitors and employees.
  • Welcome visitors, manage visitor logs, and assist with meeting room coordination.
  • Assist with the setup, organization, and maintenance of office administration systems and documentation.
  • Provide administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day office operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate communication and operational efficiency within the office.
  • Identify opportunities to improve administrative workflows and support the implementation of more efficient processes.
  • Assist the office administrator in coordinating with external suppliers, including follow-up on orders, deliveries, and service needs.
  • Support the structure and coordination of the Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) committee and office safety brigades.
  • Help communicate and reinforce office safety standards, policies, and best practices.
  • Propose and support initiatives that leverage AI, digital tools, and automation to improve office administration and user experience.
  • Maintain accurate records, trackers, and administrative files as needed.
  • Support additional office and administrative projects assigned by the supervisor.
  Education Required
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in:Business Administration, International Business, Human Resources or a related field
  • Intermediate to advanced level of English is preferred.
  • Availability to complete the internship according to business needs.
