For over 20 years, South Shore Therapies has been providing exceptional outpatient pediatric speech language pathology and occupational therapy services. Our team is comprised of some of the most skilled and compassionate professionals across eastern Massachusetts.
South Shore Therapies is currently seeking a part time Front Desk Associate to join our growing team in Norwood. This position can be structured to be either 12-14 hours per week (3 days/week) or up to 30 hours per week (5 days/week). The ideal candidate will also have flexibility to assist with coverage when needed and occasional Saturdays at either our Norwood or Hingham clinic.
Front Desk Reception Job Tasks:
  • Greeting and assisting clients and families in a warm, friendly, and welcoming manner.
  • Utilizing scheduling software to check-in clients, post payments, schedule appointments, enter billing information and register new clients
  • Answer and manage multiple telephone calls promptly and professionally
  • Supporting clinical staff as needed
  • General front office tasks
  • Assist with various administrative projects as needed
Qualifications:
  • Experience handling high volume phone lines.
  • Ability to stay organized in a busy and fast paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with children, parents and co-workers
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Following and adhering to established company and front desk procedures
  • Strong proficiency with technology
