Duncan Family Farms is looking for a curious, detail-driven Food Safety Field Researcher Intern to join our team! This isn't your typical internship-you'll be out in the field collecting real data, supporting food safety research, and helping improve practices that impact both our farms and the agricultural industry as a whole. If you're passionate about food safety, love problem-solving, and want real-world experience (not just lab theory), this is for you. What You'll Be Doing
- Collect environmental samples (water, soil, plant tissue, surface swabs) using proper aseptic techniques
- Help design and set up field-based monitoring systems
- Support installation and maintenance of data collection tools
- Map and document sampling locations with precision
- Learning the ins and outs of organic integrity and agronomy
- Organize and summarize data into clear, meaningful reports
- Assist with field trials and experimental design
- Partner with our Technical Services team on research and improvement projects
- Follow all food safety and workplace safety standards

What We're Looking For
