We are looking for a highly motivated Fintech Account Executive to drive sales of Workiz's financial services (payment processing, expense cards, loans, and financing) to both new and existing customers. You will own the full sales cycle, from initial contact to onboarding and expansion, and will be responsible for achieving and exceeding monthly sales quotas.
Responsibilities
As a Fintech Account Executive, you will:
  • Sell Workiz's embedded financial services products to our existing software customer base and new prospects.
  • Become a product expert on Workiz's suite of financial services offerings.
  • Lead consultative sales processes, recommending and advising customers on the best-suited Workiz Financial Services products.
  • Manage a pipeline of potential fintech sales deals through phone calls, SMS campaigns, email campaigns, and scheduled meetings.
  • Lead the entire pre-sales process, including product demonstrations, value proposition explanations, price negotiations, and closing the sale.
  • Assist customers with onboarding Workiz financial services products and related software configurations.
  • Continue to partner with the customer for the initial weeks of the post sales journey, serving as their fintech trusted advisor and product consultant to ensure that all purchased fintech features are adopted effectively and completely
  • Serve as a customer success escalation point to maximize fintech product retention.
  • Act as a knowledge hub for other customer-facing teams (AEs, Onboarding Specialists, and CSMs) to support client relationships and meet their financial service needs.
  • Provide customer feedback to the product team regarding enhancement requests.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives on pre-sale enrollments.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 2+ years experience in a sales or account management with a proven experience exceeding goals
  • Strong communication skills written/verbal; ability to establish rapport with customers at different levels, solely over email and via phone interactions
  • Ability to multitask - manage a large number of customers
  • Excellent creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
  • Strong work ethic, ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments

Bonus Points:
  • A forward-thinking approach to AI, with a track record of using AI to intelligently enhance prospecting, communication, data analysis, and increase overall efficiency.
  • Experience with Hubspot, SalesForce or other CRM software
  • Sales experience in Financial Services products
  • Experience working with SMBs

Compensation and Benefits
  • Market-level compensation based on experience $85,000 - $95,000 On-Target Earnings.

  • Sick Leave: 5 days per year
  • Vacation Leave: 14 days per year plus 2 Floating Holidays to use each year

This is a hybrid role working Tues, Wed, and Thurs in our San Diego office and Mon and Fri working remotely. Open to candidates in the San Diego area.
