  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • 5+ years of professional experience in fintech, payments, banking, crypto, or adjacent domains (product, operations, risk, compliance, research, engineering, or consulting).
  • Strong understanding of payments and money movement: authorization/settlement, chargebacks, fees, rails (card networks, ACH, wires), and common failure modes.
  • Strong understanding of crypto/blockchain fundamentals: transaction lifecycle, consensus (high level), on-chain vs off-chain, token mechanics, and common misconceptions.
  • Solid risk mindset: fraud vectors, account takeover, social engineering, custody/key management risks, and safety-first user guidance.
  • Familiarity with compliance concepts relevant to fintech/crypto (high level): KYC/AML, sanctions awareness, consumer protection, and disclosure practices.
  • Ability to evaluate answers for internal consistency (units, timelines, fees, security assumptions, and realistic constraints).
  • Minimum C1 English proficiency with strong written communication and the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
  • Reliable, self-directed, and able to deliver consistent quality in an hourly, remote contractor workflow across time zones.
  • Prior experience with AI data training/annotation, financial content QA, risk/compliance review, or technical writing is strongly preferred.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop AI Training Content: Create detailed prompts and gold-standard fintech/crypto outputs (explanations, scenario analyses, risk write-ups, user guidance).
  • Optimize AI Performance: Evaluate and rank AI responses to improve correctness, clarity, safety, and practical usefulness.
  • Ensure Model Integrity: Test AI outputs for inaccuracies, misleading certainty, unsafe financial guidance, and bias; validate reliability across use cases.
