Profile Summary:
Primary point of accountability to business partners and other parties for project planning, day-to-day execution, management, implementation, readiness, and reporting of large and significant projects or small to medium programs (typically up to $10M) where scope is subject to change, contains high complexity, and high degree of risk, large number of resources, and complex organizational change issues that support moderate to complex business unit or corporate goals. May be responsible to provide management and oversight for a business or IT portfolio. In every case, project/program objectives address complex business goals. The projects/programs will span multiple IT and/or business areas. Accountable to manage and monitor project tasks and controls during portfolio planning, project planning, and delivery activities to ensure on-time and quality outcomes are met within scope and budget. Work with a high degree of autonomy and apply expert/leading project and program management knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to project deliverables, processes, communications, presentations to meet or exceed stakeholder needs and expectations. Understand, apply, promote, and contribute to Voya delivery methodologies, standards, and tools.
Profile Description:
  • Hands-on and results driven leader with a proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively across organizations and cross functional teams
  • Accountable to business sponsor(s) and management to drive delivery of quality solutions tied to clearly understood business problem(s) and benefit(s)
  • Deliver project/program objectives on-time, with quality, within scope and budget to meet or exceed stakeholder needs and expectations
  • Proactively identifies, communicates and manages a holistic view of project/program milestones including dependencies and impacts across projects/programs/portfolio
  • Promote early awareness, communication, transparency and mitigation planning of critical dependencies, risks and issues within project
  • Provide accurate project estimates and proactively manage project budget, approved funding, forecasts, and actual
  • Anticipate and head off problems that can jeopardize delivery, budget, customer readiness, and customer acceptance
  • Remove barriers to enable project team to complete objectives no matter how difficult
  • Partners with Finance to support and provide insight to leadership on project/program financials and forecast; understands what is driving the costs and what is needed to achieve desired outcomes
  • Establish strong working relationship and trust with senior leadership; able to share perspective and insights
  • Gain recognition as a trusted advisor / leader with project team, customers, and stakeholders at all levels of the organization across the enterprise (business and Technology)

Compensation Pay Disclosure:
Voya is committed to pay that's fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.
The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate's geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
