Your Responsibilities
  • Become an expert in the Workday Student Financial Aid product
  • Execute the day-to-day activities on a Workday Student implementation for clients including process design, demonstrate configurations through the development of prototype systems, package implementation lifecycle support, conversion, testing, and project reviews with customers
  • Work with customers to help convert legacy data into Workday
  • Assist the integration consulting team in configuring and testing integrations between Workday and other third-party or custom solutions
  • Help mentor new consultants and serve as a professional role model
  • Collaborate effectively and synergistically to team-based projects
  • Ensure customers understand and take advantage of Alchemy and Workday best practices
  • Help ensure customers remain referenceable once in production
  • Partner with Engagement Managers to ensure alignment across project plans and allocated budgets
  • Strive to innovate and suggest new approaches and tools to deploy Workday efficiently and effectively
  • Maintain Workday certifications and qualifications

About You (Required Skills)
  • Bachelor's Degree or commensurate work experience
  • A background in Financial Aid
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in consulting and/or higher education
  • Material knowledge of Student Information Systems (SIS)
  • Previous experience deploying Student solutions: Workday, Ellucian, Banner, Kuali, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, or similar applications
  • Higher Education or Functional expertise in one of the following areas: Financial Aid, Student Financials
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 40%

Proposed Pay Transparency Statement
Compensation for roles at Alchemy varies based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill set, experience, training, certifications, and overall business needs. As part of our total compensation package, this role may also be eligible for participation in Alchemy's variable bonus plan (role-specific), with additional details shared during the hiring process.
In accordance with applicable pay transparency laws, we provide a reasonable salary range for each role. It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the range, and final compensation decisions are based on individual qualifications and alignment to the role.
For roles that may be leveled during the interview process, compensation will be aligned accordingly, and an updated salary range will be provided if the level differs from the original posting.
Base Salary Ranges:
  • Consultant: $100,000 - $124,000
  • Senior Consultant: $130,000 - $150,000
