Summary

We are seeking a Manager, Finance Transformation, to play a key role in executing and supporting the modernization of Finance and Accounting functions. By leveraging data analytics, automation, and innovative technologies, we are modernizing how our Finance and Accounting team operate, enabling stronger insights, efficiency, and business impact.

Working under the direction of the Director, Finance Transformation, this individual will support the design, business requirements, and deployment readiness of automation, reporting, and analytics solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and insight generation across Finance and Accounting. The role bridges Finance/Accounting and IT teams to ensure business needs are effectively translated into system functionality, end users are properly trained, and new tools are successfully adopted.

This position requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage deliverables across multiple workstreams. The ideal candidate enjoys both the business and technical aspects of finance transformation and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Optimization, Monitoring & Continuous Improvement: Support efforts to document, streamline, and standardize Finance and Accounting processes. Identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities through data analysis and stakeholder input. Assist with developing KPIs and conducting post-implementation reviews to ensure sustainability and continuous improvement.
  • Technology Enablement: Partner with IT and business teams to define business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for Finance technology solutions. Translate business requirements into clear, actionable specifications for IT delivery. Conduct testing (UAT), troubleshooting issues, and ensuring tools meet user needs. Build self-service dashboards, reports, datasets, and metrics in Power BI and Excel using governed data sources. IT owns all technical design, configuration, and development.
  • Program & Project Delivery: Manage day-to-day project activities for assigned initiatives, including timeline tracking, coordination of deliverables, communication with stakeholders, and progress toward roadmap commitments. Support the Director in maintaining project plans, dashboards, and reporting to ensure alignment and visibility.
  • Training, Adoption & End-User Support: Develop and deliver user training, process documentation, and job aids to drive adoption of new tools and processes. Serve as a subject matter resource for end users, providing ongoing support and guidance to ensure successful transitions and long-term sustainability.
  • Data, Reporting & Insights: Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics that measure performance, adoption, and operational effectiveness. Support data validation, governance, and master data management efforts to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems. Perform data shaping and modeling using Power Query, DAX, and Excel.
  • Change Management & Communication: Assist in executing change management activities, communication planning, and readiness assessments. Act as a liaison between Finance, Accounting, and IT to ensure clarity, alignment, and buy-in throughout transformation efforts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Data Science, or related field required
  • 5+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Finance Transformation roles, with hands-on experience in process improvement or systems implementation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative working style
  • Experience working in an Agile project management setting

Functional / Technical Experience

  • Hands-on experience building Power BI reports, dashboards, and models using governed data sources.
  • Experience supporting data model design (metric definitions, Finance logic, and fact/dimension alignment) from a Finance perspective.
  • Foundational understanding of SQL, ETL/ELT concepts, semantic models - (not responsible for data pipeline development).
  • Experience with ERP and/or EPM systems (e.g., Oracle, OneStream, Anaplan)
  • Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, Alteryx, Knime) to streamline Finance workflows.
  • Experience supporting data governance, master data management initiatives, and security (role-based access, sensitive data handling, metadata lineage)
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver user training and documentation

Physical Requirements

Work is performed in a typical office environment and may require standing, bending, lifting boxes or packages under 10 lbs., and sitting for long periods of time.

Work requires regularly inputting/retrieving words or data into or from an automated/computer system.

Compensation Range:

$97,200.00 - $145,900.00

The actual basesalary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
