Job description

Position Summary
  • The Finance Transformation Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing strategic finance transformation initiatives across the organization. This role supports the companys effort to standardize and modernize financial processes enabled by SAP S/4HANA.
  • The Project Manager will lead cross-functional initiatives that align finance, IT, shared services, and business stakeholders around the implementation of standardized global processes. This role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with the organizations finance operating model transformation.
  • The position plays a critical role in enabling the transition to a more scalable, efficient, and data-driven finance organization.

Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Delivery
  • Lead the planning and execution of finance transformation initiatives.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Ensure alignment between finance process design, system configuration, and business requirements.
  • Manage scope, schedule, risks, and dependencies across multiple initiatives.

SAP S/4HANA Transformation Support
  • Coordinate project activities related to the implementation or optimization of SAP S/4HANA finance capabilities.
  • Facilitate workshops between finance teams, IT, and external implementation partners.
  • Support design validation, testing coordination, and deployment planning.
  • Ensure projects align with the organizations SAP S/4HANA roadmap.

Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Coordinate efforts across:
  • Finance leadership
  • Global Process Owners (GPOs)
  • IT / SAP teams

  • Facilitate project meetings, steering committee reviews, and status reporting.

Transformation Governance
  • Support the finance transformation governance structure.

  • Maintain project documentation, decisions, and change logs.

Risk & Issue Management
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Escalate issues to program leadership when necessary.
  • Manage cross-functional dependencies and integration points.

Change Management & Communication
  • Coordinate communication across finance transformation initiatives.
  • Support stakeholder engagement and change management activities.
  • Work with training teams to support rollout of new finance processes and tools.
