We are looking for a Field Clerk-Warehouse to join our team! In this position, you will be responsible for primarily clerical duties in the operations of field offices where the number of clerical personnel is limited and includes some physical duties in designated areas as assigned.
Important Note: This role is considered safety sensitive, and as such, you may be required to undergo various background screenings. This may include but is not limited to a driving record abstract, criminal check, a company sponsored medical and drug testing.
What You Will Do:
  • Perform general clerical support including timekeeping, purchase orders (SAP), filing, email responses, and document/form completion for field office operations.
  • Maintain accurate departmental records, inventories, and data systems; input data to generate reports and service orders.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with field staff and other offices; assist with phones, dispatch, and radio communications as needed.
  • Receive, verify, and manage freight/stock shipments; check materials in/out of inventory per authorized requests.
  • Handle mail operations, including sorting/distributing incoming mail and preparing outgoing correspondence and packages.
  • Operate material handling equipment and perform basic facility/yard maintenance; support additional clerical and field office duties as assigned, including backup customer service/operations functions.
Who You Are:
Minimum Requirements (Note: A partial year of related work experience of 6 months or greater will be considered one year towards the qualifications):
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • General clerical skills (i.e., filing, copying, answering telephone, etc.).
  • Basic keyboard knowledge and skills required.
  • Ability to perform physical duties as required such as lifting and moving up to 100 lbs without assistance.
  • Knowledge of basic math is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of personal computers and software (Microsoft, etc.) desirable.
  • A general knowledge of company policies, procedures and operations is desirable.
  • Previous customer contact experiences helpful.
  • Certified Forklift Operator is preferred.
  • SAP experience is preferred.
  • Certified Forklift Operator is preferred.
Working Conditions:
  • Office Work Environment Up to 25%
  • Travel Up to 25%
Physical Requirements (Include but are not limited to):
Balancing, bending and stooping, climbing, crawling, carrying (up to 100 pounds), grasping, kneeling, lifting (objects up to 100 pounds), pulling hand over hand, pushing, reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, walking, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement, grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 100 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement.
Mental Requirements (Both field & office) include but are not limited to:
Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
