Department Overview:
We are a warm, easy-going family in Middleton seeking a caring and dependable part-time Family Assistant and Nanny. Our family enjoys spending time together at home, enjoying our beautiful neighborhood, reading books, playing outside and staying active. This position is ideal for a college student in education, psychology, child development, or speech/language ora related field who enjoys working with children and wants to make a meaningful impact on a family's day-to-day life.

Position Summary
This is more than a traditional babysitting position. You'll build relationships with two wonderful children while helping our family thrive. When they're happily engaged or napping, you'll shift your focus to family assistant responsibilities that keep our household organized and running smoothly.
We value initiative, reliability and a positive attitude and we've been fortunate to have long-lasting wonderful relationships with our previous nannies and au pairs.
The ideal candidate is proactive, takes initiative, enjoys staying busy, notices what needs to be done without being asked, and takes pride in making a family's day a little easier.

• Experience caring for young children (with references)
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Responsible, dependable, organized and kind
• Comfortable helping with family assistant tasks, including:
-Children's laundry
-Meal and snack prep
-Tidying children's spaces
-Loading/unloading dishwasher
-Light household organization
-Occasional errands (grocery pickup, UPS returns etc.)
Preferred:
• Coursework or major in education, child development, psychology, or speech
• CPR/First Aid certified
