Nanny/Family Assistant | Pinecrest, Florida
Wonderful opportunity for an energetic, upbeat, and dependable Nanny/Family Assistant who enjoys staying active and engaged with children. This busy, athletic family is looking for someone who can bring positive energy to the home, keep the children organized, and become a trusted part of their daily routine.
Schedule: (Flexible and on-call) Monday-Friday | 2:30pm-6:30pm
The schedule is flexible based on the family's needs and will include some weekend availability and occasional overnight care when the parents travel. Additional compensation is provided for overnight stays.
Children: Three children, ages 8-16.
Responsibilities
  • School pick-ups/drop-offs and transportation to activities, appointments, and social commitments
  • Assist with homework and help keep the children organized
  • Plan fun, age-appropriate activities and stay actively engaged with the children
  • Maintain schedules and assist with family errands
  • Children's laundry, and closet organization (full-time housekeepers are employed)
  • Provide occasional overnight care when parents travel

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is fun, active, warm, responsible, flexible, and highly dependable. Someone who enjoys sports, swimming, outdoor activities, and working with older children would be an excellent fit.
Candidates must be local to the Pinecrest/Miami area, have a reliable vehicle and excellent driving record, be a confident swimmer, and be comfortable around dogs. The family has one well-trained Labradoodle.
