 Position: Exhibit DesignerStatus: Full time, permanentLocation: Ohio History Center, Columbus OHSalary: $57,200 per yearBenefits: Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, retirement pension, paid time off and holidays Summary:Develops and implements exhibit projects at the Ohio History Center and Ohio Village and across the site network. In conjunction with the department head, this individual oversees a collaborative exhibit development process and articulates a vision for the experiential and aesthetic direction of exhibits as well as management of overall exhibit schedule. Serves as the primary advocate for the visitor experience in exhibits with an eye to establishing an immersive environment that blends engaging activities and visuals with learning outcomes. Works closely with Interpretive and Content Specialists to develop interactives and other tactile exhibit elements.
