Description
The position will require exceptional organizational skills for managing multiple projects through establishing project milestones and management of internal/external resources, while monitoring all project deliverables.
  • Facilitate the communication and interaction with vendors and internal functional representatives; coordinating tasks and required meetings.
  • Track all aspects of implementation, developing status reports and informing all interested parties of project status.
  • Support Account Management in the preparation and planning phase of exhibit projects and coordinating/ communicating project details into production.
  • Consult with designers and vendors regarding aesthetic, structural and budget guidelines.
  • Identify risks at the onset of a project and develop proper mitigation plans.
  • Coordinate and set up onsite and offsite meetings.
  • Coordinate labor and transportation vendor services for projects as required by project.
  • Liaison with internal Project Services personnel to ensure proper ordering of all GC services (drayage, rigging, power, internet, and other services as needed.
  • Outsource and development of partner relations with third party vendors.
  • Execute project milestones and deadlines for project in timely manner to ensure manufacturing/vendor lead times.
  • Management of client and rental inventories.
  • Schedule and lead internal meetings to verify production expectations and schedules.
  • Coordinate with the production team to ensure project meets client expectations, timely delivery, and on budget.
  • Innovate around unique challenges.

Requirements
This position requires a candidate who has a solid production background with strong leadership characteristics and technology skills. The person should have comprehensive organizational skills that will help the candidate to successfully manage multiple projects of various sizes and complexities. Strong communication/documentation skills, flexibility, and the ability to adjust to continually developing project situations will help the candidate to succeed at ET Global and enjoy working in a team environment.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a production environment - industry preferred but not necessary.
  • Experience with project management tools for planning, budgeting, estimating, scheduling, contract, design coordination, statements of work and vendor management, procurement and accounts payable.
  • Effective leader, motivator, and collaborator.
  • Must be accurate, organized and detail oriented.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication, creativity and strategic thinking skills.
  • Experience coordinating and managing events in various stages, simultaneously from initial planning through finalization.
  • The ability to work with diverse personalities in sales, design, detailing, production, and construction while managing costs, time requirements, and customer expectations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of planning systems, scheduling techniques, process management, workflow, and team coordination/negotiation/conflict management.
  • Selected candidate must be proficient in reading and interpreting sketches, blueprints, and process an understanding of basic construction methodology.
  • Microsoft Office, PC and Internet proficiency.
