Job description

Cetera is seeking a strategic and experienced leader for RIA Network, a community within the RIA and Branches channel and growth organization.  The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales and relationship management strategy to drive double-digit revenue growth. This role requires a proven leader with extensive experience in RIA or platform sales within a financial organization and ability to drive growth for independent RIA firms and advisors, both IAR-only and hybrid.
Key Responsibilities:
    Develop and execute a comprehensive recruiting strategy.
    Identify opportunities to deepen advisor engagement and accelerate growth through personalized and innovative sales tactics and campaigns.
    Build and implement strategies that drive activation, retention, and growth within the RIA segment, aligned with the overall distribution strategy.
    Collaborate with Blueprint, marketing, recruiting, channel and community leadership to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
    Design programs, tools, and resources to empower RIAs to better serve their clients and enhance their businesses.
    Partner with internal teams (e.g., Blueprint, marketing, product, and analytics) to align strategies with business goals.
    Drive the creation of compelling, industry-relevant content that resonates with RIA audiences and reinforces the brand's value proposition.
    Represent the organization at key industry events, webinars, and conferences to build brand presence.
    Use data analytics and insights to continuously refine strategies and improve ROI.
    Develop quarterly and campaign reporting in partnership with the marketing team.
    Partner with Growth Operations and Analytics and Advisor Productivity & Efficiency team to optimize Salesforce and Growth360 platform 
    Monitor competitive and industry trends to inform product feedback, pricing strategy, and competitive positioning.
    Manage the relationships of RIA Network firms by owning the end-to-end lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding through growth, and long-term retention.
    Drive success of KPIs within the business: Newly recruited revenue and assets, Same Store Sales growth, advisory AUM growth and advisor and firm retention.
    Build and manage the RIA Network community team as growth warrants.
    Own revenue, profitability, and expense discipline for the RIA Network community.
    Accountable for RIA Network's contribution to enterprise growth targets

Qualifications:
    Minimum of 10 years of sales or relationship management experience (preferably in the RIA industry), with at least 5 years focused on driving growth.
    Proven track record of leading and executing successful platform sales strategies.
    Deep understanding of the RIA ecosystem, including key trends, challenges, and opportunities.
    Expertise in developing multi-channel sales campaigns with measurable outcomes.
    Strong leadership and project management skills, with a collaborative mindset.
    Self-starter, comfortable in a fast-paced environment and driving strategy and process with whitespace.
    Executive-level communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
    Proficiency in CRM systems and data analytics platforms.
    ROI-driven approach to building sales strategy and growing existing relationships.
    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), Salesforce, and other relevant tools.
 

Compensation Range:
The base annual salary range for this role is $240,000 to $290,000 plus a competitive performance-based bonus.  Base annual salary depends on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location. Base annual salary may also differ significantly due to geography and cost of labor considerations.
