Executive Director / Licensed Nursing Home Administrator

Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and results-oriented Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center.
This executive leadership opportunity is ideal for a visionary leader who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is passionate about improving the lives of residents while building high-performing teams. The Executive Director serves as the senior leader of the facility and is accountable for operational excellence, clinical quality, financial performance, regulatory compliance, employee engagement, and resident satisfaction.

Position Summary Brief

The Executive Director is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational success of the facility. This executive provides leadership across all functional areas, including human resources, clinical operations, compliance and quality, finance, business development, community relations, and resident and family satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Management: Oversee the daily operations of the facility, ensuring a safe, efficient, and caring environment for residents and staff.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and licensing requirements governing skilled nursing facilities.

    Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation to maintain fiscal health.

  • Staff Development: Recruit, train, and retain qualified staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to enhance resident care and satisfaction.
  • Community Engagement: Serve as a liaison between the facility, residents' families, and the broader community to promote the facility's mission and services.

Qualifications

  • Current Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) license in the applicable state.
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of progressive leadership experience operating a skilled nursing facility.
  • Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Preferred

  • Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience improving quality outcomes, occupancy, employee engagement, and financial performance.

Compensation
