ROLE OVERVIEW

The Brand Partnerships Account Executive will report to the Brand Partnerships Director and is responsible for the hands-on research, strategy development, and execution of influencer and celebrity campaigns. This role requires a highly analytical and execution-focused approach, ensuring Fashion Nova secures top-tier, culturally relevant talent for the brand.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Talent & Celebrity Strategy (Research Heavy)
  • Proactive Talent Sourcing: Independently research, identify, and categorize high-impact celebrities, VIPs, and culturally relevant macro-influencers whose personal brands align with Fashion Nova.
  • Cultural Context Mapping: Become the internal expert on rising talent relevance. Track emerging actors, musicians, athletes, reality stars and digital personalities to determine campaign potential and propose timely engagement strategies.
  • Deep Dive Reporting: Produce data-driven reports justifying talent recommendations, including audience demographics, engagement rates, brand sentiment, and recent competitor activity.
  • Campaign Management & Execution (Execution Heavy)
    • Campaign Pitch Development: Collaborate with the Brand Partnerships Director to develop creative, compelling campaign concepts and pitch decks tailored to specific talent, collections, and cultural moments.
    • Relationship Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for external talent agencies, management companies, and PR firms during the negotiation, onboarding, and execution phases of talent partnerships.
    • Contract & Logistics Coordination: Oversee all logistical elements of campaigns, including contract routing, tracking deliverables, managing product sample requests, and coordinating on-set or event needs for talent activations.
    • Performance Tracking: Monitor campaign performance in real-time and contribute to comprehensive post-campaign reporting, focusing on key partnership metrics (e.g., reach, engagement, media value).
    • Event and Activation Support: Secure major talent to attend events and activations for the brand, whether it be organic or paid. Attend and support across all events and activations as needed. Will need to be available and willing to work outside regular hours as needed.
  • Internal Collaboration & Communication
    • Cross-Departmental Alignment: Work closely with the Creative, PR, and Merchandising teams to ensure partnerships align with key product drops and brand communications.
    • Budget Support: Assist in managing partnership budgets, processing invoices, and ensuring all talent compensation and costs adhere to departmental allocations.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 3 years of full-time experience in a fast-paced PR agency, talent management, or in-house brand partnerships role, ideally within the fashion or lifestyle sector.
  • Demonstrated passion for and sophisticated knowledge of current pop culture, social media trends, and the influencer landscape.
  • Deep fluency in all things social-especially Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube-and what drives creator performance on each
  • Exceptional negotiation, verbal, and written communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce, etc.), influencer tracking platforms (e.g., Traackr, CreatorIQ), and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
  • Operational savviness including the ability to drive experiential activations
  • English, additional language(s) an advantage.
  • Schedule of this position: Monday - Friday | Core business hours | Onsite
