Executive Assistant to the CEO
Growth Path: Chief of Staff
Location: On-site in Jacksonville, FL
About the Opportunity:
A fast-growing, mission-driven organization in the housing and development sector is seeking a highly capable Executive Assistant to the CEO. This role is designed for an experienced executive partner who wants more than traditional administrative work and is motivated by growth, impact, and long-term leadership development.
The position offers clear and intentional progression into a Chief of Staff role for a high performer. You will work in close partnership with the CEO and leadership team to bring structure, focus, and execution to a scaling organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Executive Support and Priority Management
  • Serve as the primary support to the CEO, managing complex calendars, travel, meetings, and communications
  • Anticipate needs, resolve issues proactively, and align executive time with strategic priorities
  • Prepare agendas, briefing materials, and follow-ups for executive, board, and external meetings
Leadership Team and Organizational Support
  • Coordinate leadership meetings, track action items, and improve cross-functional communication
  • Drive accountability on key initiatives and ensure follow-through across teams
  • Act as a trusted liaison between the CEO, leadership, partners, and external stakeholders
Strategic and Project Support (Chief of Staff Trajectory)
  • Support special projects tied to growth, development initiatives, and operational scale
  • Help document processes, establish operating rhythms, and improve internal systems
  • Assist with strategic planning, including quarterly priorities, metrics, and leadership alignment
