A well-established and highly respected electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Project Executive to lead some of the largest and most complex commercial electrical construction projects in the Houston market. This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys mentoring project teams, and has a proven track record of delivering large-scale electrical projects from preconstruction through closeout.

Responsibilities
- Provide executive oversight for 1-2 concurrent commercial electrical construction projects valued between $20M-$80M.
- Maintain full accountability for project safety, quality, schedule, financial performance, and client satisfaction.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Project Managers while driving consistency across project execution.
- Partner with preconstruction teams during budgeting, estimating, constructability reviews, and project planning.
- Oversee GMP and Lump Sum projects, ensuring accurate forecasting, cost management, and risk mitigation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, general contractors, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Lead project financial reviews, including WIP meetings, forecasting, cost reporting, and profitability analysis.
- Collaborate with scheduling teams to develop and maintain master project schedules while proactively identifying project risks.
- Promote a culture centered on safety, quality, accountability, and operational excellence.
- Ensure contract compliance, documentation, and project execution align with company standards and client expectations.
- Support business development initiatives by strengthening existing client relationships and identifying future project opportunities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 7+ years of progressive leadership experience with a commercial electrical contractor.
- Proven experience managing large-scale electrical construction projects valued at $20M or greater from preconstruction through project closeout.
- Strong understanding of project financials, budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, contract administration, and risk management.
- Experience leading and mentoring multiple Project Managers and project teams.
- Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Bluebeam.
