Project Manager โ€“ Electrical Construction

Location: Washington, PA

We are committed to quality workmanship, strong client relationships, and the professional growth of our employees.

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at our Washington, PA headquarters.

Position Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning, coordination, and execution of electrical construction projects ranging from small scopes to multi-million-dollar contracts. This role ensures projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

โ€ข Manage all phases of assigned projects, including budgeting, scheduling, staffing, resource allocation, and client communication

โ€ข Provide leadership and direction to project teams, including foremen and superintendents

โ€ข Make timely, informed decisions to support project performance and profitability

โ€ข Develop, maintain, and update project schedules, job costs, and financial reports

โ€ข Prepare and submit monthly job cost reports and other required project documentation

โ€ข Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers

โ€ข Review, approve, and manage purchase orders, subcontracts, change orders, RFIs, and submittals

โ€ข Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety and contract requirements

โ€ข Ensure all work meets company quality standards and complies with drawings, specifications, and codes

โ€ข Oversee proper use and management of company-owned and rented equipment

โ€ข Manage project closeout activities to ensure contractual and company requirements are met

โ€ข Support employee training, mentoring, and professional development initiatives

โ€ข Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

โ€ข Minimum 5 years of project management experience in electrical construction

โ€ข Strong understanding of commercial, institutional, or municipal electrical projects

โ€ข Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholders

โ€ข Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide project teams

โ€ข Experience with ConEst estimating software preferred, but not required

โ€ข 10+ years of field experience preferred

โ€ข Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

โ€ข Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

โ€ข Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

โ€ข Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
