Job description

Vertical Alliance Group is the parent company of INFINITI Fleet Safety Trainingโ€”online training tools, including a learning management system for industries like transportation, distribution, and warehousing.

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Cold Calling Sales Representative to generate new business opportunities by identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential clients. This role plays a critical part in building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline for our Account Executives to convert into closed business. The ideal candidate is confident on the phone, persistent, and skilled at initiating conversations that lead to meaningful opportunities.

Key responsibilities

  • Prospecting and lead generation: Researching and identifying potential customers who fit the company's ideal customer profile
  • Outreach: Contacting prospects through various channels, including cold calling, emailing, etc.
  • Qualifying leads: Engaging with potential clients to understand their needs and determine if they are a good fit for the company's products or services
  • Scheduling meetings: Setting up introductory calls or meetings for the Account Executives team to take over the sales process
  • Relationship building: Acting as the initial point of contact and building rapport with potential customers
  • Data management: Using tools like a CRM to track leads and manage communications
