MissionHires is hiring an Account Executive (Telecom) on behalf of a leading wireless carrier serving ~70M subscribers. This role is ideal for fearless, quota-driven B2B hunters who thrive on cold calling, territory development, and closing net-new logos. Youโ€™ll prospect and build a business pipeline, recommend wireless solutions (plans, data, enhanced services), negotiate and close deals, and deliver superior customer serviceโ€”while leveraging CRM tools and sales automation. Competitive base + uncapped commission, benefits, training, and strong career growth.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect through cold calling, door knocking, networking, and other outbound methods
  • Recommend wireless solutions including service plans, data, and enhanced services
  • Prepare, deliver, and follow up on proposals and pricing quotes
  • Negotiate terms and close new business to meet or exceed quota
  • Provide superior customer service with high attention to detail
  • Fully utilize sales force automation, CRM, funnel management, and prospecting tools
  • Manage a sales funnel and generate reports on activities, pipeline, and forecasting
  • Devise creative and effective approaches to open doors and win deals
  • Collaborate with leadership and internal partners to ensure best-in-class sales experiences
Requirements
  • 1โ€“2 years of B2B sales experience in a quota-driven environment
  • Proven, verifiable track record of new customer acquisition
  • Fearless cold-calling mindset with strong time-management skills
  • Effective negotiation and closing abilities with proposal/quote follow-up experience
  • Demonstrated commitment to superior customer service and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with computers, Outlook, typing, and solid business writing skills
  • Experience with a CRM (Salesforce strongly preferred)
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree preferred
  • Ability to manage a territory independently while collaborating with internal teams
  • Willingness to conduct in-person prospecting (e.g., door knocking) and networking
Benefits
  • Competitive base pay plus commissions with lucrative earning potential
  • Ongoing sales training to keep you at the top of your game
  • Medical, dental and vision benefits Matching 401(k)
  • Generous paid time-off programs
  • Phone service discounts
  • Education reimbursement
  • Serious growth potential for your career
  • This is more than your average sales role.
