JOB SUMMARY

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced event professional who enjoys balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution. Working closely with leaders across the business and partnering with the Human Resources team, you'll help create memorable experiences that reflect our values, reinforce our culture, and make Weissman an even better place to work.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop creative event concepts, themes, and experiences that align with Weissman's culture and organizational goals.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of company events, including leadership retreats, Executive Navigator Team events, employee engagement activities, team outings, and corporate functions.
  • Manage all event logistics, including venue selection, vendor coordination, catering, audiovisual requirements, décor, transportation, accommodations, and event timelines.
  • Develop and manage event budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure timely processing of invoices and vendor payments.
  • Coordinate event communications, including save-the-dates, invitations, RSVP management, calendar updates, and attendee communications.
  • Provide on-site event management, overseeing setup, vendor coordination, event execution, and resolution of real-time issues.
  • Coordinate company-sponsored meals by managing vendor relationships, food ordering, delivery logistics, setup, and billing.
  • Research and recommend venues and reservations for executive dinners and leadership gatherings.
  • Build strong partnerships with leaders and internal stakeholders to ensure events support business objectives and create exceptional employee experiences.
  • Evaluate event success through attendee feedback, budget performance, and post-event assessments to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Experience
  • 5 years of professional event planning or corporate event management experience.
  • Experience managing multiple events simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships, negotiating services, and overseeing event budgets.
  • Experience supporting executive-level events or corporate leadership functions preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.
  • Strong budgeting, financial tracking, and vendor management abilities.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for designing engaging and memorable experiences.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced event environments.
  • Graphic design experience or the ability to create event collateral and communications preferred.
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule with flexibility to support occasional early morning, evening, or weekend events as business needs require.
