To thrive as an Event Software Specialist, you need expertise in event management processes, strong IT skills, and a relevant degree or experience in software support. Familiarity with popular event management platforms (like Cvent or Eventbrite), CRM systems, and troubleshooting methodologies is often necessary. Exceptional communication, problem-solving abilities, and customer service orientation help specialists effectively support event organizers and attendees. • Develop and manage event timelines, diagrams, BEOs, and on-site logistics

  • Coordinate with the culinary, banquet, AV, and front office teams to ensure flawless event execution

  • Manage event budgets, billing, and post-event reporting

  • Serve as the on-site contact for clients during events, providing hands-on leadership and problem-solving

  • Ensure all events reflect Saint Kate's artistic brand, service standards, and creative approach to hospitality

  • Maintain strong relationships with repeat clients and local cultural organizations

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask under pressure

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience interpreting and creating BEOs, floor plans, timelines, and contracts

  • A collaborative spirit with a passion for customer service and creative thinking

  • Proficiency in event software (Delphi, Opera, Social Tables, or similar) a plus

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules

  • Enthusiasm for the arts, community engagement, and innovation

What's In It For You?

  • Complimentary, well-balanced meals during every shift

  • Competitive salary and eligibility for bonus programs

  • Hotel and dining discounts at Marcus Hotels & Resorts properties

  • "Two for one" movie ticket perks at Marcus Theatres

  • Paid time off, paid holidays, and floating holidays

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance (after 30 days)

  • Company-paid life insurance, employee assistance program, and 401k with employer match

  • Opportunities for growth within a creative, values-driven hospitality company
